The sense of entitlement is astounding !!!!

In a few months , perhaps by Christmas, the gang will be back together at FODDC in Coleford.

Meetings will see more extreme  and damaging policies and motions passed by the Greens and their Labour colleagues acting like nodding dogs , agreeing to everything and allowing the Greens to do as they wish.

By utter coincidence the Labour Cllrs will continue in their positions of note in the council , handed to them by among others the Greens.

A confidence and supply agreement indeed.

Now the author must declare an interest here, it is true to say theres an element of bitterness in this piece and also  the mearest hint of sour grapes with a soupcon of rant thrown in .

With however, very good reason I suggest.

You see I  am aware that  come Christmas, when your buying vegan yule logs and driving your electric car to Asda and its raining,
It will be forgotten that in June, during the General election campaign , each party completely ruined the other. They have dismissed each other's policies, told the world how dangerous the other party is, accused the other of lying, of misleading the public and being pretty useless all in all.

The thing is, this isn't just political parties having a seriously damaging pop at each other.

These are the actual Councillors who have come together to run the Forest of Dean.

Cllr Bishop the Labour General election candidate has posted on social media a whine about the Greens being ever so nasty and lying, misleading the public.

How awful of those devilish Greens.
No Shit Sherlock comes to mind.

Bishop has been told time and time again of the issues in dealing with Greens but alongside the rest of his Cinderford Labour mafia has chosen to sup from the devil's cup.

He now bleats when they bite him. The sense of entitlement is frankly astounding. He shows a level of ignorance and naivety that should dissuade support in an election his party is certain to win massively.

He hasn't explained to local members how he was chosen and is running a campaign based on telling everyone how bad the incumbent and his party is and relying on partisan loyalty.

Perhaps a thats a fair position to take, but hardly inspiring or positive politics.

One thing he is right about is the Green party's willingness to deceive. They did it in the local elections, they are probably doing it now.

They are ideological extremists , who believe the ends justify their means. Power at any cost will help them in their mission to save the planet from itself. They are demons wearing cagoules .

By the time those of us not indoctrinated by their persuasive approach, realise the danger its too late, it's game over. The Green cabinet and Mr Macfarling are old hands at playing the nice guy, getting power then swiftly revealing themselves to be a nest of hissing spiteful and vindictive vipers, driven to take the world back it the 1600s , their entire ethos when you look at it , is terrifying.

But who bothers to look behind the cagoule and the reusable drinks bottle?

The Forest of Dean, has already been sacrificed, If Macfarling becomes MP , our very way of life will be altered to its detriment a lot quicker. Perhaps it will be a quicker finish to put the Forest out of its misery and misery is coming with the people running the local government.

And Bishop and his Labour council buddies who sat there and smirked as they handed Macfarling and co the keys to the FODDC and happily pick up the scraps the Greens throw them have no right to complain now.

We sit and watch and accept there's nothing we can do about this demise and that Bishop is likely to be your MP in a few weeks.

Frankly none of them deserve your vote
Its a worrying time , roll on Christmas.
