Its been proven so many times that Party Politics at District Council Level is damaging rather than positive. We only need to examine what is currently happening at FODDC with the "agreement " between the Greens and Labour. Similarly we need to find a way to seperate so called Independents who do not hold the same set of values as those of us in the Progressive Independents do . We need to be able to use our logo at elections so we are identified , we need to be able to respond to every thing, Thats why last week  we began the process of registering The Progressive Independents as an OFFICIAL political party.
